When we smile when the lip is at rest, it is determined how much the tooth will appear. It is ideal to appear 1-2 mm in the resting position. When we smile, it is aesthetic that all of our upper teeth appear and our gums appear 1-2 mm. In this case, gingival levels and symmetries, which we call pink aesthetics, come into play. It is not enough to just plan the teeth. To be aesthetic, the teeth must be close to the golden ratio. In order not to be too long or too short, measurements are made and their widths and heights are calculated. The proportions are also important. So, for example, the ratio of your central tooth to our canine tooth. To create a smile curve parallel to the curve of the lower lip, the tooth appearance is shortened from front to back in pre-calculated amounts. The midline position and angle are adjusted.
